Organization of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Center in Istanbul
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (“Organization”) was established on September 25, 1969. It aims at impowering cooperation and solidarity between the member states and defending the rights and interests of Muslim World. Organization’s center is at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and has 57 member states. Turkey has been a member of the Organization since its establishment.
The Organization decided to establish Organization of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Center in Istanbul at 35. COMCEC session by signing Host Country Agreement with Turkey on Nov. 2019 to resolve commercial and investment disputes. Turkey ratified the agreement on 25.01.2020
